YAY!

well...it's been a while.

last sunday i went to New York City and saw HAIR and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
the weekend before i went to see Billy Joel and Elton John in concert and it was also ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
a few days before that i saw the new harry potter movie and thoroughly enjoyed it =]

its been an exciting month.

tomorrow is opening night of Showtune, the summer musical @ my school. it's a good time.

this journal is pointless.

I haven't done a journal entry in a while, and I'm only reporting now because I feel like writing about my current status on my life. I have gotten 5 nosebleeds over the past 2 weeks or so, and have yet to see a doctor. My mom got me tickets to see Billy Joel and Elton John in July but I don't know who to take. High School Musical 2 auditions are in 5 days and I'm very excited but nervous but also annoyed because I hate High School Musical, but I'll suffer. My friend Meg and I were supposed to work on our History Day project during the last several hours but, of course, did not. And it's not like we were doing anything productive otherwise, we were just hanging out. So that was a very poor decision on our part, but we always work it out =] I started my first job yesterday. I am a part-time receptionist at a hair salon, basically when the full-time receptionists don't want to work on either friday or saturday afternoons, I'll get a call, and I'm fine with that =] So that's an update on my life. Sweet.

probably not...but SPAIN is a possibility for this summer! national geographic has a summer program for high school students thats mainly for on assignment projects, such as photography, wildlife & conservation, people & cultures, filmmaking and a bunch of other stuff! and they have trips to peru, ecuador & the galapagos, mexico, costa rica, belize, tanzania, australia, china, india, rome, greece, spain, and iceland! if i could, id go to all of them, but i can only pick one sadly...india was my first choice, but thats a pretty dangerous place to be right now, so spain was my next choice id go specifically for on assignment photography of course =] i need to start preparing a college portfolio...and i dont have nearly enough

but the thing is...the economy sucks, and i just went to europe last summer, and unless i raise another $7000 by june, its no go =[ so basically, its no go, since theres no way i can earn $7000 by june

but i can pray

today is my 16th birthday =] i've been 16 for 11 hours and 2 minutes now! woot woot! im not having the most fabulous of birthdays, but last night was fabulous! myself and 6 of the bestest friends ever went to the HARD ROCK CAFE in foxwoods in connecticut and...we got to take a limo! cuz my mom can be pretty kewl =] we had an absolutely amazing time...today, i was supposed to hang out with my dad, but hes stuck in the caribbean due to a hurricane...i say stuck because he was supposed to come home yesterday but he cant get out til tomorrow =[ im really sad hes missing my birthday, but what can i do? =[ cuz i cant do anything with him tomorrow cuz my mom is having a party...divorce sucks >=[

so i really have nothing to do right now =] which is why im telling my life story to deviantart

i think im gonna try and salvage this catastrophe of a birthday
